Terms of Service
1. The service
ReceiptScan.io provides AI-powered receipt scanning, structured data extraction, searchable history, spending insights (Pro), and cloud sync (Pro). By using the service you agree to these terms.
2. Acceptable use
Use the service for legitimate personal or business receipt management. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, or use it to process documents you do not have the right to process.
3. Free tier
The free tier provides a daily quota of scans, local-only history, and JSON/CSV export. Quotas and features may change as the service evolves. We will give reasonable notice before material changes.
4. Pro subscription
Pro is billed monthly at the price displayed in the app at the time of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
5. Refunds
If you are charged in error or are unsatisfied with a Pro subscription, contact us within 14 days of the charge for a refund. After 14 days, we evaluate refund requests case by case.
6. AI accuracy
Receipt parsing is performed by AI vision models. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy. You are responsible for verifying important totals and entries. Use the inline editor to correct mistakes.
7. Your data
Receipt images are not stored on our servers after processing. Scan history is stored locally on your device and (for Pro) in encrypted cloud storage tied to your account. See the Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the website and, for paying users, by email.
